I'm sure by February I'll be hunting down snowplow man to have a "word" with him about just how reasonable it is for him to fill in the end of my driveway WHILE I'm standing there with my shovel!

So lastnight I was out with the Hubbie, party time. HA! well really it was the company party, my job is to drive to and fro and look Kyoot! do you know how hard it is to look kyoot when your hubbie is a bit tipsy and being the entertainment. I was NOT the entertainment.It felt like the 60's! i'm like the only Spouse! that's ah not working!I'm also the only one going "yep that's my man!"and "yeah he's good" and "well yeah I see him about what?3times in11 yrs.yes I have pictures of my kids.

Giot to love the corporate party. The good news? the only corporation I know making $$$$ in this recession, the badnews? I have to wait until I get home the next day to get tipsy!

ok soooooooooooooooooooooo the bloggable part?
remember here? well it was a conversation starter.People wer ediscussing how their kids of "now" were reacting to the cartoons we and our parents watched as kids. I did say "oh I blogged about that" but luckily I wad drowned out by the many glasses ofwhatever spiked beverage tehy were having. hahah hehehe hhehee

But tonight? yes tonight in the quiet of my home? it's my turn to get tipsy, now due to the tipsy I have to get he Hubbie to proofread and authorize me posting this.

Here Come more Holidays

Yesterday here in Canada wasn't Thanks Giving, but it was Thursday. Since yesterday was Thursday that means Today is Friday. It's not Black Friday but for some companies up here in Canada they are trying. Some of the stores have sent me Flyers (well I did sign up for them)and the sales are "better" than usual. It does make me wonder "why can't they just lower the prices over all through the whole year??" I'd never get a deal that way though would I?
Canadian Stores I've received flyers for are Canadian Tire, and Zellers. Walmart has been advertising in my ears via the radio, along with a local Electronics store, and Future Shop. I wont be buying electronics this year, I just can't because well Hubbie will. He lives for the stuff and so he'll get all excited and fork over dollar$ for anything that plugs or doesn't plug depending. He's getting better though, we don't have a cellphone or Cable TV.
I'm not even sure I want to go shopping this weekend, really it's still November.(denial?) I wonder if maybe I'm better off leaving Christmas in December but then again Advent starts Sunday? And Sunday is still November. 4wks is not long. No must not shop... well maybe just snow suits? The kids need them and if I don't put them under the tree in a month it's not Christmas shopping right? So no it's not Christmas shopping it's just shopping. ok So I'm JUST going shopping, not Christmas shopping yeah that's it. If I buy me a hair cut it's a ME outing right? Yes I think that's it. I'll just "go out for me" (and the snow suits)

BTW does anyone know why it was Foggy on Christmas Eve? Wouldn't it have been snowing?

When Good Cake goes almost Bad.

When good Cakes go bad! this is the side view of my Birthday Cake it was EXACTLY what I wanted. 1/2 of a Chocolate and Caramel Covered Cheese Cake with Brownie triangles and Walnuts Brownie Base. YUMMY! Now to motivate myself to work off all those calories.

+ I didn't have to throw any away because of the guilt because 5 people and 1/2 a cake doesn't go that far, especially when mine is 1/8th of a cake, or 1/4 of 1/2 a cake. work with me

+ I couldn't have the cake because I stuffed myself with Broccoli and chicken

+ There are almost 52wks until I can do this again

- The cake is gone
-My butt is back, no the cake didn't do it, but it was part of the assault on my butt.
-I didn't have room for the cake? so had to wait until Breakfast
-yes I had cake for Breakfast.. yes 1/8th of a cake for breakfast.
- there is no room in me for fruits or veggies today, still full of breakfast cake at 9pm
-Birthday Cake is suppose to be shared
-must work harder on the calorie balancing act
-might have to stop eating for the rest of the week.

Just saying...

For me

Today for Me, I will clean the house from top to bottom. It isn't about my parents coming to visit after calling at noon that they would be here at about 7-8pm. I do this for me, because if the house is clean, I'll enjoy their company more.
Today I decided I will not be cooking supper? Why? For me, because the time it will take ME to clean this house from top to bottom is time that I don't have to shop for good food and cook good food. I'll leave that to someone else. Tomorrow I'll cook good food for them while I escape on a date with my Hubbie. For ME!!

Monday is my Birthday, I suspect this might be part of my mother's want to come and visit I'm her first, but I share my Day, I share it with both my youngest Brother and sister. Today and Tomorrow, it's Me!

Now I'm off to clean Me Toilets~! for me :)

Honestly? Really? Wow!

So this morning I'm working on it being morning, and well that takes a bit but for some reason, and I open up the inbox and there looking at me is an award! So I've what posted 7 times here? and there's an award? Want to see it? Thank you to Kaylen for sending this on. Her Blog Title totally fits! This Time it's Serious! yep it is. Honestly is Serious Business.

So this award like most Blog awards comes with Rules, and these Rules I like it's all about the Honesty. The telling of yourself and really this place could use some ideas. I'll take that challenge. Now 7 Honest things...

My family doesn't know where I blog, well my kids know they see me typing away, but my Parents? and Brothers and Sisters? uh no. I leave this information out. They can see enough of me over at Facebook and I'm silly enough over there for everyone.

I hate to house clean! yep, hate it I know everyone hates it to some level but I'm talking bout the hate that goes along these lines, "leave the dust bunnies alone, they have their space and I have mine" the only time it's dust bunny season around here is when someone is coming. ALL visitors must give me atleast a weeks notice unless I know you also have a dust bunny hunting restriction in their homes. Then I know they are here to visit me and have no desire to check out our dust bunny habitats.

This is difficult without giving you all the information in the back of my brain, there's a lot I don't share on my blogs.

I am not crafty at all, nope I took apainting class but I can't draw even a cat for halloween. I can trace great. I will be Tracing my artwork for the house. Dust bunnies? they can be halloween theme right?

Oh lastnight I didn't eat after supper, nope I didn't and I used the Stepper. I started watching MIIB (Men in Black 2) while Stepping away. I got 20minutes in according to the DVD player's counter. I will put the movie in again today and continue, now because I wrote this under the honesty, I'll have to keep going.

I'm not looking forward to the Hubbie's Christmas party with his company. There is an auction we can't afford to bid on, there is food that is so high in calories the tables are struggling to hold it up, and there are the friends we only see once a year. I do though love that they will take this time to share their good will with others. That part keeps me going back every year.



I love Grocery shopping. I don't know why? but I think it's because it's the one place where I can shop and it's "necessities" vs wants. If I throw a Bag of chocolate chips in the cart, it's for the baking, and that's fine. If I go to say a housewares store? I'll see something but I wont buy it, it's not needed. I can live with using my small sauce pan for making my tea vs a kettle or teapot, but carrots? and potatoes? or Crackers? Those things have to go in the cart. Maybe some day I'll get that Kettle?

Oh and a bonus? my cursor vanished, honestly it's gone. The letters are typing but that flashing part? it's gone. I wonder if it was ever there and if I'm just noticing this now? that would be a bit scary because I've been using Blogger for 5yrs now.

So that's the honesty up there, or what I could come up with that doesn't put all my dirty laundry out there for the world to see or my family to find.

Falling into the Trap of Food

Since this is the space for "me" I'd like to confess to almighty Blog that I've over eaten a LOT Of Chocolate this past week. I'd also like to confess to the overeating of apples. Yes you read it right apples. Ah but Apple you say? How can an apple be bad? Oh let me list the ways...
Apple Crisp/Crumble, YUMMY topped with ice cream? sure.
Apple Bread, Yummy,
Apple muffins, Yes they taste wonderful, warm or cold, but I've rarely had them cold
Apple sauce Sweetened?
Apple Fritters, the store made those
Apple Jam? neighbour gave me this and uh it's great on toast bread
Apple dipped in Chocolate pudding. Yup
Apple in carmel, this one someone told me and I think it's better not to even try
Carmel apples,
Candy apples
Chocolate covered Carmel apples with nuts, too dangerous to try but I saw them.

So there you have it a very scary list of what apples will do to my butt! I don't think there is enough spandex to fix this.
October 31st it's coming! its Scary in more ways then one. Halloween Candy? I'm weak. Leftovers are bad! I'm nervous. Chocolate is sold in easy to bite sizes, and multiples, and before you know it the bag is empty. I didn't plan to eat the whole box of bars. I didn't. I bought it for the family, but "ME?" "I" ate it. I ate a lot of it. Ok well there were 14 regular size bars. I shared 2 each with my 3 kids. Eight Bars are missing....

On the plus side, my Stepper is now living in my basement infront of a Television and a DVD player. We don't get any reception here, it will have to do. Any suggestions on what to watch while I work my leg muscles?

The Sounds and Smells of Fall

I've totally noticed the pull of the lawnmower here in my neighbourhood. One neighbours powers up the mower and people kind of look at each other in the house, "did I just hear a..." and it's only April, and sometimes May, because well it's Canada, BRRRRRRRR! The changeover happens again.

Soon it will be October and I'll pull in the yard just back from the stores with high priced snowsuits and gear and next powerful machine I hear is someone "just fixing"' or "preparing" their snow blower or putting that new (or in great condition for it's age) plow onto the lawnmower or ATV, and then it happens a flake falls. Every neighbour is late for work and they all rush to get their shovels, brooms or motorized snow removal equipment. This is all a different In March when that ,Freak snow storm that really wasn't so freaky, is announced or falls. They aren't all rushing for the shovels, no they are all hiding in their homes waiting to be unfrozen. For now we're still doing lawnmowers.
Tonight another "fall" smell followed me as I walked my major high speed, more because it's cold ad I want to get back home before my breath cloud does, walk. I did well tonight 45minutes of good walkinng vs the mini walk I did earlier in the day. This night walk was for me. It followed me all over the neighbourhood the smell and it wasn't BBQ burgers, hotdogs, sausages that I had smelled last week, it was woodstoves! Yes it's begun, the neighbours are firing up the furnaces and getting ready to put another log on the fire as they hybernate and wait wait and wait for spring to return!
BRRRRRRRR! I'll just wait for that baseboard heater to kick in!

Seems I've Been Found, Now I Have to find Me Too!

I guess that means the kyooty is still here and needs to get out more. I find it very hard to separate the Kyooty that is me and the Kyooty that is the Mom! I guess I've been a mom for so long that I don't remember very much of the me that was before I was a Mom?

I don't remember my life before my kids well I remmember lots but I don't think about it as time without kids. I do though need to be more Me every once in a while. I do not have many hobbies. This internet is a bit addictive though, I read a lot and see a lot of other posters that have a great grip on seperating parenting and themselves. See even in getting to this point I'm still Mom. Will I ever be able to separate that? More hobbies, maybe if I worked outside the home it would come easier? I'd meet more people, and meet more people that aren't Mom's too?

So I'll keep working on uncovering Kyooty and maybe it will happen. Things done for Me this week? going walking, making food that I "need" vs what everyone else will eat, and uh that list isn't long enough so I'll have to really try harder!

Kyooty,that's me! Kyooty is how I've been typing out cutie since about 1995, so it sticks. This is me! I'm not sure how long or what I'll use this space for but we'll have to wait and see. It's here it was available I took it!
