In my Head and Memories

Summer really doesn't go this way. It doesn't rain, it doesn't get cold, and it doesn't feel blah. It is always sunny in my summer memories, and we wore shorts from the minute it turned summer until the day we went back to school in the fall. Fall (although really the end of September) was the Tuesday after Labour Day and not before.
Today, is the end of our first full week of Summer vacation. I haven't had to get up and make lunches or tell anyone what time is bedtime or up time or anything else. So waht am I doing? I'm watching the rain fall!

On the plus side everything is Green!

Me time Again

I can feel it closing in, the end of the school year is tomorrow. I'm done packing lunches as of today. It's time for me! so in an effort to get some "me" time, I'm coming her to the Kyooty Side of things. My Side. Not the Center side where I often talk about the kids or share my kids with you all. (much to their dismay) But me.

So update on me?
I'm stuggling with with weight loss again. (Big news right?)
I'm working on an idea to get me some down time over the summer once by taking an hour or two in the mornings before the sleepers wake. (Ok yeah that looks better written down, we'll see)

I wonder if you'll all join me for tea in that chunk of time?

I've finally got a cellphone over the past year so I can even sneak off to write here without sitting in this specific chair.

I'm still selling Avon.

This is turning into one of those "this is empty space must fill it" or like Date night without the kids where all you think about is what the kids are up to or talking about the kids where they don't see?

I can't be the only blogger that does this can I?

Today's rant....Rogers. By far, this is the WORST telecom company in North America. I have lived in both countries for an extended period of time, and out of AT&T, Comcast, Time/Warner (originally Road Runner, when I was with them), Verizon, Bell, Aliant/NBTel, and Rogers....Rogers is the worst. This is the most unethical company (and that's not saying much) you'll ever see. Please don't use them. If they offer you any kind of service, it's a scam. For my work phone, I was given the option to move from Rogers to Bell (our preferred vendor), and they would buy out my contract. So I called Rogers to get the final number to buy it out, so I can expense it. Then after I cancel, they chuck another $100+ of charges on it. Let's call them the Christmas Fees (doesn't matter what you call them). After talking to two people in customer service, they basically told me to go screw. Then last night I get a call from them that if I don't pay it in two weeks it's going to a collections agency. I HAVEN'T EVEN GOT THE FUCKING BILL IN THE MAIL YET! Are you fucking kidding me?  "
